Services Provided

Information and Advice

A free telephone service is available which offers advice and information on a wide reange of topics in the social services field.

People on the Marton exchange cal call direct on 3228765 while toll calls are 0800-Hauiti (428484)

The service operates from Monday to Friday 8.30 - 5 p.m.

Whanau Support


If you have a concern that cannot be addresses over the phone our trained social support worker will arrange to meet with you or your whanau.


The aim is to support you or your whanau to resolve your own issues.

Referrals

If you or your whanau require specialist help, the service will assist you to get this as soon as possible.

Advocacy

If you feel unsure about dealing with Government Departments or any other agencies, our staff will support or represent you to ensure that you receive appropriate and adequate services.

Health Promotion

The Trust has a Maori community health worker who works under the umbrella of Te Kotuku Hauora.

The service involves linking whanau with appropriate health services and providing health education hui, including 'Tai Chi' classes.
