A position has arisen for a full time Farm Manager for a 123ha beef and lamb finishing operation at Rata (Hunterville) and would be suitable for a first time farm manager.  Te Pātiki Farms is in its third season of operation and is focused on lifting production with animal welfare and environmental concerns taken into account in management decisions. The successful person will be self-motivated, an effective leader with strong management skills, a great communicator, ability to organise and plan, outstanding stock management and husbandry, feed budget experience, stock rotation and intensive grass management, experience in farm maintenance and stock handling activities, financial management, excellent recording (feed, stock, maintenance) skills, effective dogs and a full drivers license.
